Madhya Pradesh won’t ban ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’

Congress-led Madhya Pradesh won’t ban the movie ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’. In this movie, Anupam Kher plays former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh’s role. The film has sparked a row for the distortion of facts.

The move by the MP government also clears the party’s stand on the movie. Earlier, Maharashtra Youth Congress president Satyajeet Tambe Patil has written to the producers asking for a special screening before the movie’s launch on January 11.

Mr Patil says from the trailer it appears that “facts have been played with and presented in incorrect manner with regards to the ex-prime minister Manmohan Singh, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Congress party to malign the image of the party.”

The trailer has been given top rating by the ruling BJP, which tweeted the clip along with its glowing review.

“Riveting tale of how a family held the country to ransom for 10 long years. Was Dr Singh just a regent who was holding on to the PM’s chair till the time heir was ready? Watch the official trailer of The Accidental Prime Minister, based on an insider’s account, releasing on 11 Jan!” the BJP tweeted from its official account.

Former prime minister Manmohan Singh today did not comment when asked by reporters for a reaction to the trailer of “The Accidental Prime Minister”, the biopic based on the eponymous book by his former media advisor Sanjaya Baru.
Manmohan Singh was accosted by reporters as he arrived at the Congress office for the party’s 134th anniversary celebration.

He paused before the mics, but moved away without a word as soon as the question was asked: “What do you think about the film made about you?”

Taking advantage of the situation, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, said that he is waiting for the film ‘The Insensitive Prime Mime Minister’.

Abdullah’s comment were aimed at the government. The Opposition has often targetted the government, accusing it of being intolerant and insensitive’.

Though a section of Congress party wants a special screening of the movie but they want to portray that they are ‘free to criticize’. Thus, they want to show a contrasting perspective of the current government which is becoming notorious for being ‘intolerant’. The image rectification of the Congress party has been started from farmers’ loan waiver scheme and shall be continued till 2019 elections.

In Himachal, The ‘Chowkidar’ became vocal and vowed to catch the ‘thieves’

PM Modi, while addressing his Jan Aabhar rally, in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh said that he won’t spare the ‘thieves’ (meant Congress). He bashed the loan waiver move by the Congress and said that it is meant to mislead the farmers. He also stressed on One Rank One pension scheme and blamed Congress for delaying it.

“For the last 40 years, this country’s soldier was demanding the One Rank, One Pension scheme. The then government fooled our soldiers and kept only Rs 500 crore for it. When we came to power, I called for the file and officers were left stunned,” said the prime minister.

“We realized there was Rs 12,000 crore required for it. It’s difficult for the government to take out Rs 12,000 crore in one go so I called soldiers and asked them to give it in four-five installments and they agreed. Today I am happy, we gave it in four installments,” he added.

To reply the ‘chowkidar’ jibes by the Opposition, he lashed them by saying that those who were in the habit of looting money were now afraid of the country’s ‘chowkidar’.

“Those who were in the habit of looting, they are now feeling afraid of the country’s ‘chowkidar’ and are now abusing him,” Modi said adding “this chowkidar is not prepared to spare thieves”.

The PM also praised the soldiers from the state, describing it as the land of brave army men who were ever ready to make the supreme sacrifice at the border. He further said that development projects worth Rs 26,000 crore were under way in various sectors in Himachal Pradesh.

Congratulating Jairam Thakur on completing one year as chief minister, Modi said, “Himachal Pradesh is like my home. I worked here for several years for the party’s organisational work.”

The prime minister also released a booklet on the achievements of the BJP government in the state. Later, he went through an exhibition put up by the state government to showcase the benefits of state and Centre-sponsored schemes.

The politicians are in election mood and shall not spare a single chance to gain the upper ground. Congress started it by waiving farmers’ loan. Though it is a very short-sighted decision but at least they delivered their promise. BJP on the other hand is making amends for the move Congress played and bringing out their other shortcomings. The tug-of-war will continue till the election.

Congress got the clear majority in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. They are just ahead in Madhya Pradesh but lost severely in Mizoram and Telangana. It is quite evident that Congress didn’t win but BJP lost. Here are some reasons for the downfall of BJP

Communal Hatred at its peak

Yogi’s venomous speech, filled with Hindu-Muslim rift and Name-changing plans, were like gifts for Congress Party. People understood their motives and hence, they didn’t vote for BJP.

Angry Farmers

Farmers are the biggest vote bank. BJP leaders became quite when farmers protested. Not a single reaction came from the party. Not even a jumla. They even saw PM attending Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas wedding but couldn’t spare an hour for farmers. This gave a very solid shiver in the community and thus, they voted against BJP in order to teach them a lesson.

Statues over original issues

Building Statue of Unity and proposing other statues didn’t go well in the public. It was more of a wastage of money. This money could have been used for clearing farmers’ debt, funding Universities, building schools and colleges, building hospitals, etc. Besides, more statues are coming up. So, the defeat itself is a message that please stop wasting the money on something so silly.

Job Creation failure

No-one could deny this fact. The job creation is negligible. Unemployment at its worst. Besides, Government is not even trying to generate employment.

Trying to control Democratic Institutions

Mutiny by Supreme Court judges in the starting of the year painted a gloomy picture of BJP trying to control them. Later, CBI was compromised and now, RBI. Controlling is a trait of BJP. The nature of the country depends on the freedom of these institutions. People saw these incidents as the beginning of an autocratic rule. Thus, to prevent the juggernaut, people voted out BJP.

Let’s see if they learn from the mistakes and bounce back. They don’t have much time to waste as 2019 elections are round the corner. Introspect and act should be the only things in their mind.

Congress releases first list of candidates for Telangana Elections

Congress released a list of 65 candidates for Telangana Elections. The party released the list after a Marathon meeting of Central Election Committee of the party. Rahul Gandhi called this meeting. 

Congress Party is aiming to upstage Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). This party is head by the incumbent Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. They are staging state party chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy to contest from the Huzurnagar constituency. 

Congress has an understanding on various seats with Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Chandrababu Naidu lead this party and was an ally of NDA government. They broke the alliance as the government was reluctant to give Andhra Pradesh a special status. 

Like previous elections in Uttar Pradesh, a United Opposition front could be expected. For this idea to become reality, Naidu is meeting other opposition leaders and would launch a joint effort to defeat BJP. 

The Elections are scheduled for 7th December. After successes in Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh for keeping BJP at bay, United Opposition front is not just a flash in the pan. The stability of such Alliance doesn’t seems great but still its enough to keep BJP far from power. Let’s see if BJP will prepare well for this or just ridicule like before and pay the price. 

Yogi defends Allahabad Renaming

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister defended renaming of Allahabad by giving reference to mythological villains like ‘Ravan’ and ‘Duryodhan’. He said this while speaking in an event in Haridwar. 

When I changed the name of Allahabad, some people raised questions over it. Some also said what is there in the name. So, I said why didn’t their parents name them ‘Raavan’ and ‘Duryodhan’ in that case? In this country, the name holds a lot of significance.

He also said that most names in India are related to “Ram” and is widely used by scheduled castes. The name Ram “connects us with our glorious tradition.” 

Uttar Pradesh Cabinet approved the proposal on 16th October to change the name of Allahabad. Earlier, in 1575, Akbar changed the name of ‘Prayagraj’ to ‘Illahabad’ or ‘abode of God’. The Cabinet has rectified the mistake done by Akbar! A BJP state spokesperson gave this statement. 

Yogi also said that critics are not aware of the tradition and history of the country. 

Those who are opposing this are not aware of their history, culture and traditions and we can’t have hopes from them.

So, the name, which related to Islamic God is now the name of villain. Changing the name won’t do harm but it won’t do the welfare of the people either. The only thing which BJP might yield from this deed is polarizing the society and thus, fetching votes.  

मध्यप्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव : भाजपा की 177 सीटों पर 16 महिला उम्मीदवार

प्रदेश में करीब 50 प्रतिशत महिला वोटर होने के बावजूद पार्टियां उन्हें तव्ज्जो नहीं दे रही है। एक ओर महिला सशक्तिकरण की बात करने वाली भारतीय जनता पार्टी मध्यप्रदेश चुनाव को लेकर पहली सूची में 177 में सिर्फ 16 महिलाओं उम्मीदवारों कोे जगह दी है।

शुक्रवार को भाजपा ने 230 विधानसभा सीटों में से 177 प्रत्याशियों के नाम की घोषणा की है, जिसमें 16 महिलाओं के नाम शामिल है। जहां 16 महिला उम्मीदवारों में से 7 अनुसूचित जनजाति(ST) और 9 सामान्य वर्ग से है। वहीं इस सूची में एक भी अनुसूचित जाति(SC) महिला उम्मीदवार का नाम शामिल नहीं है।

महिला उम्मीदवारों के नाम :

अनुसूचित जनजाति(ST) :

1. जैतपुर : मनीषा सिंह

2. मानपुर : मीना सिंह

3. सिहोरा : नंदिनी मरावी

4. नेपानगर : मंजू राजेंद्र दादू

5. मनावर : रंजना बघेल

6. घोड़ाडोंगरी : गीता बाई उइके

7. बैहर : अनुपमा नेताम

प्रदेश की 230 विधानसभा सीटों में अनुसूचित जनजाति(ST)  की प्रदेश में 47 सीटे हैं जिसमें 40 सीटों पर घोषणा की गई है। इन 40 सीटों में भाजपा ने सिर्फ 7 महिला उम्मीदवारों को जगह दी है। बाकी बची 7 सीटों में देखना होगा कि भाजपा कितने SC महिला उम्मीदवारों को उतारती है।

अनुसूचित जाति(SC) :

भाजपा की पहली सूची में फिलहाल किसी महिला SC उम्मीदवार का नाम नहीं है। प्रदेश में 230 विधानसभा सीटों में से 35 SC के लिए आरक्षित है। 29 सीटों पर घोषणा हो चुकी है, बाकि बची 6 सीटों पर देखना होगा कि कोई महिला उम्मीदवार को भाजपा जगह देती है या नहीं।

मिजोरम विधानसभा चुनाव : भाजपा ने 24 प्रत्याशियों की दूसरी सूची जारी की

शुक्रवार को भाजपा ने मिजोरम विधानसभा चुनाव को लेकर दूसरी सूची जारी कर दी है। जिसमें 24 प्रत्याशियों के नाम शामिल हैं। 20 अक्टूबर को भाजपा ने पहली सूची में 13 प्रत्याशियों के नाम की घोषणा की थी। मिजोरम की 40 विधानसभा सीटों पर 28  नवंबर को चुनाव होने हैं, जिसके  परिणाम 11 दिसंबर को आने हैं।

भोपाल: प्रत्याशियों की लिस्ट जारी करने से पहले भाजपा-कांग्रेस कार्यालय में बढ़ी सुरक्षा

भोपाल स्थित भाजपा और कांग्रेस के प्रदेश कार्यालय के बाहर पुलिस ने भारी सुरक्षा बल तैनात कर दिया है। बता दें कि आज भाजपा विधानसभा चुनावों के लिए प्रत्याशियों की पहली सूची जारी कर सकती है। वहीं कांग्रेस भी कल चुनाव के लिए प्रत्याशियों की पहली सूची जारी करेगी।

पुलिस को आशंका है कि टिकट न मिलने से नाराज कार्यकर्ता और समर्थक कार्यालय के बाहर तोड़फोड़ कर सकते है। जिसके चलते पुलिस ने दोनों ही कार्यालय के बाहर पुलिस ने सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी है।

मध्यप्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव को लेकर आज भाजपा और कांग्रेस टिकटों का ऐलान कर सकती है। टिकटों को लेकर राष्ट्रीय और प्रदेश स्तर के नेताओं के बीच दिल्ली में हो रही लगातार बैठकों में ये कयास लगाए जा रहें है कि टिकटों की घोषणा जल्द ही हो सकती हैं। दोनों ही पार्टियों में सीटों को लेकर अंर्तविरोध देखा जा रहा है। मीटिंग के दौरान बड़े नेताओं के भी आपस में भिड़ने की खबरें लगातार बनी हुई हैं।

भाजपा की मीटिंग धर्मेंद्र प्रधान की अध्यक्षता में खत्म हो चुकी है वहीं कांग्रेस की मीटिंग राहुल गांधी के नेतृत्व में फिलहाल अभी भी जारी है। दोनों पार्टियों में सीटों को लेकर पार्टी नेताओं के बीच धमासान को विशेष तौर पर ध्यान दिया जा रहा है। आपको बता दें कि मध्यप्रदेश में 28 नवंबर को एक चरण में पूरे प्रदेश में चुनाव होने वालें हैं। वहीं 11 दिसंबर को इस चुनाव के परिणाम भी आ जाएंगे।

भाजपा की सीटों को लेकर दिल्ली स्थित धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के घर में बैठकों का सिलसिला आखिर कार  खत्म हो चुका है। जहां राष्ट्रीय स्तर के नेताओं और प्रदेश के नेताओं के बीच लगातार बैंठक हो रही थी, जिसमें प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान, प्रदेशाध्यक्ष राकेश सिंह, राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री कैलाश विजयवर्गीय, चुनाव प्रचार समिति के अध्यक्ष नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर, प्रभात झा समेत कई बड़े नेताओं के बीच सीटों के मंथन का दौर समाप्त हो चुका है और जल्द ही भाजपा अपने उम्मीदवारों की घोषणा कर सकती है।

मध्यप्रदेश कांग्रेस पार्टी की फिलहाल मीटिंग अभी जारी है, जहां प्रदेशाध्यक्ष कमलनाथ, पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री दिग्विजय सिंह और चुनाव प्रचार समिति के अध्यक्ष ज्योर्तिरादित्य सिंधिया मौजूद है। टिकट बटवारे को लेकर दिग्विजय सिंह और सिंधिया बे बीच भिड़ने की भी खबर वायरल हो रही थी। लेकिन बाद में सिंधिया ने इस बात का खंडन करते हुए कहा कि इस प्रकार की कोई भी विवाद हमारे बीच नहीं हुआ है।

40 दिन 40 सवाल अभियान के क्रम में मध्य प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष कमल नाथ नें मध्यप्रदेश की समृद्धि और सुशासन को लेकर शिवराज सरकार से छठां सवाल पूछा है. कमल नाथ ने ट्वीट करते हुए लिखा, ‘आइडिया में है दम ?’
‘मध्यप्रदेश की समृद्धि और सुशासन के दिन आ रहे है पास,आपकों एक आइडिया दिया है बेहद खास ।
प्रदेश के नागरिक 28 नवंबर को इसे हर हाल में आजमाएंगे,आपकी नाकारा सत्ता को हटाएंगे और 11 दिसंबर से मध्यप्रदेश की समृद्धि के दिन आ जाएंगे ।’

छठां सवाल

शिवराजजी एक बेहद दमदार आइडिया है मध्यप्रदेश की समृद्धि का, जो आपको प्रेषित कर रहा हूं। बीते दिनों मध्यप्रदेश के नागरिकों से हुई चर्चा का सार ही है जिससे इस आइडिया ने जन्म लिया है औऱ सही माने तो इस आइडिया में मध्यप्रदेशकी समृद्धि का राज भी छुपा है। इस बात में कोई संदेह नहीं है कि मध्यप्रदेश में प्राकृतिक संसाधन औऱ नागरिकों की इच्छा शक्ति प्रचुर मात्रा में बै। मगर यह बात भी सही है कि प्रगित की असीम संभानवाओं के बावजूद मध्यप्रदेश आपके नेतृत्व में समृद्ध प्रदेश नहीं बन पाया और इस बात की पुष्ठि मोदी सरकार भी अपनी रिपोर्ट्स में करती हैं। आप ज्यों-ज्यों सरकारी संसाधनों को अपनी छवि चमकाने की आग में झोंकते गए, त्यों-त्यों मध्यप्रदेश बदहाली की गर्त में गिरता गया।

  1. आपने सैकड़ों करोड़ रुपए खर्च कर बेटी बचाओ के नारे से अपनी छवि को तो चमका लिया, मगर बेटियों की किस्मत पर अपराधियो और अराजक तत्वों का ग्रहण लगा दिया।
  2. आपने बच्चों के मामा का मुखौटा लगाकर खुद की छवि को हष्ट-पुष्ट तंदरुस्त कर लिया, मगर मप्र के बच्चों को कुपोषण के काल चक्र में फंसा दिया।
    3 आपने हजारों करोड़ के विज्ञाप देकर किसानपुत्र केनाम पर अपनी प्रसिद्धि की फसलें लहलहा लीं, मगर किसान की किस्मत में आत्महत्याका सूखा लिख दिया। यहां तक कि फसलों के दाम मांगने पर किसान के सीने को छलनी करवा दिया।
  3. एक तरफ आदिवासी नृत्य कर अपनी छवि पॉलिश की औऱ उन्हें कैंसर युक्त जूतों से नवाज दिया। इतना ही नहीं उनके वन में रहने का अधिकार को नकार कर लाखों आदिवासी भाइयों को दर-बदर कर दिया।
  4. एक तरफ आप सैकड़ों करोड़ खर्चकर विदेश यात्राएं औऱ इन्वेस्टर मिट कर अपनी छवि चमकाने में जबरदस्त निवेश करते गए औऱ नए उद्योग आना तो दूर पुराने बी बंद हो गए।
  5. एक तरफ आप युवाओं को रोजगार क सपने बेचते गए औऱ दूसरी ओर करोड़ों युवाओं का भिविष्य व्यापम में लुटवा दिया।
  6. एक तरफ मध्यप्रदेश की जीवनदायनी मां नर्मदा की यात्रा कर अपनी धार्मिक छवि का चमकाया और दूसरी तरफ मां नर्मदा का दामन अधर्मी रेत माफियाओं के हवाले कर मां नर्मदा कोछलनी कर दिया।
  7. आपने अपनी छवि के लिए भगवान राम औऱ आदि शंकराचार्य तक के साथ छल किया न राम वनगमन पथ का निर्माण न शंकराचार्य भगवान की 100 फिट ऊंची प्रतिमा।

आपने मध्यप्रदेश के पूरे खजाने को खाली कर दिया और मध्यप्रदेश की किस्मत में अवरूद्ध विकास लिख दिया। इसलिए मध्यप्रदेश की जनता का यह आइडिया बेहद दमदार है कि ’28 नवबंर को आपकी रवानगी तय की जाए औऱ मध्यप्रदेश की समृद्धि सुनिश्चित।’ मध्यप्रदेश के नागरिकों ने आइडिया के साथ कुछ नारे भी दिए हैं।

आपको हटाएंगे तो भ्रष्टाचार होगा कम। आइडिया में है दम।

आप जाएंगे तो ही प्रदेश के नागरिकों को मनरेगा की मजदूरी, वन अधिकार कानून के अधिकार पत्र, खाद्य सुरक्षा और मातृत्व हक इत्यादि मिल पाएंगे। मामा जी बस इसी आइडिया में है दम। आपको हटाएंगे और समृद्धि लाएंगे।
