राष्ट्रीय सांख्यिकी आयोग (एनएससी) के दो सदस्यों के इस्तीफे के बाद मामले पर राजनीति तेज हो गई है। बुधवार को नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार पर हमला बोलते हुए कांग्रेस ने कहा कि सरकार तत्काल बेरोजगारी से जुड़ी वह रिपोर्ट जारी करे जिसे उसने अपने पास रोक रखा है। वरिष्ट काग्रंस नेता अहमद पटेल ने ट्वीट कर कहा, “सरकार तत्काल बेरोजगारी से जुड़ी वह रिपोर्ट जारी करे जिसे उसने अपने पास रोक रखा है। रिपोर्ट और इसे तैयार करने वाले आयोग का ताल्लुक भारत की जनता से है, न कि किसी राजनीतिक दल से। इसका कोई मतलब नहीं है कि सरकार इस रिपोर्ट को सिर्फ इसलिए जारी नहीं करे कि इसके तथ्य उसके मुताबिक नहीं है।’’

मोदी सरकार पर हमला बोलते हुए पटेल ने कहा कि सांख्यिकी आयोग के सदस्यों के इस्तीफे से एक और संस्थान निष्क्रिय हो गया है। मामले पर कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी ने कहा, “सांख्यिकी आयोग उन प्रतिष्ठित संस्थानों की कतार में शामिल हो गया है जिनको प्रधानमंत्री मोदी और भाजपा ने बर्बाद किया है। इनमें आरबीआई, सीबीआई, सीवीसी, सीबीडीटी, ईडी और आयकर पहले से हैं।’’

सिंघवी ने आगे कहा कि आत्मसम्मान वाले पेशेवर लोग इस सरकार के दबाव में नहीं झुक सकते और न ही डेटा के साथ छेड़छाड़ का प्रयास कर सकते हैं। परंतु झुकने वाले नौकरशाहों का इस्तेमाल बदले की राजनीति के लिए हो सकता है। इनको आत्मसम्मान वाले पेशेवर लोगों से सीखना चाहिए।

गौरतलब है कि सांख्यिकी आयोग के दो स्वतंत्र सदस्यों पी सी मोहनन और जे वी मीनाक्षी ने सरकार के साथ कुछ मुद्दों पर असहमति होने के चलते इस्तीफा दे दिया है। एक अधिकारी ने मंगलवार को यह जानकारी दी। मोहनन आयोग के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष भी थे।

लोकसभा कगुणाव के नजदीक आने के साथ ही कांग्रेस समेत पूरे विपक्ष मोदी सरकार पर हमलावर होता नजर आ रहा है। विपक्ष एक के बाद एक घोटाले के आरोप सरकार पर लगा रहा है। इसी सिलसिले में अब कांग्रेस पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता पवन खेड़ा ने मोदी सरकार पर टेलीकॉम सेक्टर में बड़ा घोटाले के आरोप लगाया है।

खेड़ा का कहना है कि पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने अपने 4 साल 8 माह के कार्यकाल के दौरान कथित तौर पर अपने मित्रों को अनुचित फायदा पहुंचाने के लिए सरकार को यह नुकसान पहुंचाया है। खेड़ा का दावा है कि ये सभी बातें कैग रिपोर्ट में साफ-साफ लिखी हैं। उन्होंने टेलीकॉम सेक्टर के इस महा घोटाले की जांच सुप्रीम कोर्ट की देखरेख में कराने की मांग की है।

सोमवार को एक प्रेसवार्ता में पवन खेड़ा ने कहा, मोदी सरकार के कार्यकाल में टेलीकॉम सेक्टर के तीन बड़े घोटाले हुए हैं। ताजा घोटाला माइक्रो वेव स्पेक्ट्रम का सामने आया है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा स्पेक्ट्रम अलॉटमेंट को लेकर जो नियम तय गए किए थे, सरकार ने उनका खुलेआम उल्लंघन किया है। कोर्ट ने कहा था कि इस तरह के टेंडर नीलामी प्रक्रिया के द्वारा अलॉट किए जाएं, लेकिन मोदी सरकार ने पहले आओ, पहले पाओ के तहत स्पेक्ट्रम दे दिए।

सुप्रीम के निर्देशों की सरकार ने उड़ाई धज्जियां: खेड़ा

आठ जनवरी 2018 को जारी हुई सीएजी रिपोर्ट के 125 पन्नों में स्पेक्ट्रम घोटाला देखा जा सकता है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने टूजी मामले के संदर्भ में कहा था कि किसी भी स्पेक्ट्रम को नीलामी और बाजार की शर्तों के अनुसार ही अलॉट किया जाएगा। खेड़ा का कहना है कि मोदी सरकार ने यहां सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा तय दिशा-निर्देशों की धज्जियां उड़ाते हुए अपने दोस्तों को ये स्पेक्ट्रम अलॉट कर दिए। कोर्ट ने ऐसे स्पेक्ट्रम अलॉट करते वक्त रेवेन्यू शेयरिंग मॉडल का ध्यान रखना जरुरी बताया था, मगर सरकार ने पुराने फार्मूले से स्पेक्ट्रम जारी कर दिए।

डिफेंस को छूट नहीं दी, मगर मित्रों को छूट :खेड़ा

पवन खेड़ा के अनुसार, 21 जनवरी 2015 को एक प्रस्ताव कैबिनेट के समक्ष रखा गया था। इसमें डिफेंस के लिए ‘बैंड और इंटरेस्ट जोन’ को स्पेक्ट्रम अलॉट्मेंट में कुछ छूट दिए जाने का प्रावधान था। हैरानी की बात है कि आज तक कैबिनेट ने इस प्रस्ताव को अपनी मंजूरी नहीं दी है। दूसरी ओर मोदी सरकार ने प्राइवेट टेलीकॉम सेक्टर से जो चार्ज लेना था, उसे छोड़ दिया। इसके चलते सरकार को 45 हजार करोड़ रुपये के राजस्व का नुकसान हुआ तो वहीं मोदी के दोस्तों, जिन्हें स्पेक्ट्रम मिला है, को यह अनुचित लाभ दे दिया गया।

Kanhaiya Kumar and others Charged with Sedition despite SC’s Stance

Mocking the constitutional bodies has become a new routine for the government. Even after the Supreme Court’s stance on Sedition, Delhi police filed its charge-sheet against former Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) president Kanhaiya Kumar and others in a sedition case lodged in 2016.

The police said they have evidence to proceed against former JNU Students’ Union leaders Kanhaiya Kumar, Umar Khalid, Anirban Bhattacharya and seven students from Jammu and Kashmir – Aquib Hussain, Mujeeb Hussain, Muneeb Hussain, Umar Gul, Rayeea Rassol, Bashir Bhat and Basharat.

The police alleged that Kanhaiya incited the crowd and was part of the mob that allegedly raised ‘anti-India’ slogans.

A case was registered on February 11, 2016, under Sections of 124 A (sedition) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC against unknown persons at Vasant Kunj (North) police station following complaints by BJP MP Maheish Girri and the ABVP.

In March 2016, a magistrate report into the event said that anti-India slogans were not raised and stated the videos were doctored to this effect. It is unclear if the police is using the same videos as evidence against the students.

Reacting to the 1,200-page charge sheet, Kanhaiya Kumar said it is “politically motivated”. “If the news is true that a charge sheet has been filed, I would like to thank police and Modi ji. The filing of charge sheet after three years, ahead of elections, clearly shows it to be politically motivated. I trust the judiciary of my country,” the former student leader told news agency ANI.

It may be recollected that on January 10, Assamese leaders and intellectuals Hiren Gohain, Akhil Gogoi and Manjit Mahanta were charged with sedition for opposing the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill. It doesn’t require a scientist to find the pattern and tag them politically motivated. Nowadays, criticizing the government means criticizing the country and it won’t take much time to charge them with treason or sedition or both.

Rape survivor forced to drink poison in Delhi’s Dwarka

Film ‘Simmba’, a super-cop drama starring Ranveer Singh, has crossed 350 Crores globally. The film is average but still enjoyed by the viewers. It touched the issue of rape and the stringent legal procedure which follows. The film is still in the theatres and another heinous rape reported in the Capital.

A minor rape survivor was forced to drink poison in order to stomp on the chances of proving the rape. The girl was returning home from her tuition in Dwarka’s Hastsal area. The incident took place on Thursday evening.

According to news agency PTI, in the official police complaint, the girl alleged that when she was returning home two bike-borne men intercepted her way and threatened her of dire consequences if she gave the statement against the rape accused in the court. Shockingly, when the girl refused to do so the miscreants caught hold of her and forced her to drink poison.

The girl in a semi-conscious state went to Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital in an autorickshaw. The police officials mentioned that she was now out of danger. The survivor approached the police and a case was registered against the two men in Uttam Nagar police station.

However, the rape accused recently came out on bail. And a case of kidnapping and rape was registered against him at Ranhola police station in 2018, police said.

When will it stop?

Rape, watch, discuss and repeat. That’s the India of today. The isolation of the place now hardly matters as crowded places are also prone to rape. दिल्ली से लौटे सिंधिया समर्थक विधायक, कमलनाथ के शपथग्रहण में होंगे शामिल

मध्यप्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव नतीजों के बाद कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष द्वारा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष कमलनाथ को मुख्यमंत्री घोषित करने के बाद दिल्ली जाकर सिंधिया के निवास के बाहर धरना दे रहे कांग्रेस विधायक अब सिंधिया से मिलने बाद भोपाल लौट आए है. दरअसल यह विधायक दिल्ली में कांग्रेस चुनाव अभियान समिति के अध्यक्ष और सांसद ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया को डिप्टी सीएम या प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बनाये जाने की मांग को लेकर दिल्ली में डेरा डाले हुए थे. धरने पर बैठे यह विधायक अपनी जिद पर अड़े थे और रविवार दोपहर 12 बजे तक अपनी मांग को पूरे करने की बात कर रहे थे.

वहीं मामले को बढ़ता देख खुद ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया ने इन विधायकों को अपने निवास में अन्दर बुलाया और समझाइश दी. जिसके बाद अब यह सभी विधायक भोपाल लौट गये है और कमलनाथ शपथ समारोह में शामिल होंगे.

शनिवार का घटनाक्रम

समाप्त नही हुआ टकराव, दिल्ली पहुंची सिंधिया को प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बनाने की मांग

मध्यप्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस को मिली जीत के बाद कांग्रेस के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष राहुल गाँधी ने प्रदेश अध्यक्ष कमलनाथ को सूबे का मुख्यमंत्री घोषित किया गया है। खुद मुख्यमंत्री पद के प्रमुख दावेदार माने जा रहे ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया की मौजूदगी में प्रदेश कांग्रेस कार्यालय में कमलनाथ के नाम की घोषणा की गयी। लेकिन कमलनाथ के शपथग्रहण के दो दिन पहले यह मामला एक बार फिर दिल्ली पहुँच गया है। दरअसल कमलनाथ को मुख्यमंत्री पद मिलने के बाद उम्मीद जताई जा रही थी कि ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया को भी प्रदेश की राजनीती में प्रदेश अध्यक्ष जैसा कोई अहम पद दिया जाएगा लेकिन ऐसा हुआ नही। उपमुख्यमंत्री पद सिंधिया ने लिया नही तो वहीं प्रदेश अध्यक्ष पद के लिए भी अजय सिंह, अरुण यादव और दिग्विजय सिंह तक का नाम चलने लगा। जिसके बाद सिंधिया समर्थक विधायक कमलनाथ सरकार में खुद का असुरक्षित महसूस करने लगे हैं। ऐसे में यह सभी नेता कुछ विधायकों के नेतृत्व में दिल्ली स्तिथ ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया के निवास के बाहर धरने पर बैठ गए। मुरैना, ग्वालियर, श्योपुर ,शिवपुरी ,दतिया और भिंड जिले के यह विधायक सिंधिया को मुख्यमंत्री नहीं बनाए जाने से नाराज हैं। यह नेता अब यह मांग कर रहे है कि ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया को कांग्रेस का प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बनाया जाए।

मध्यप्रदेश से दिल्ली पहुंचे इन विधायकों का कहना है कि जनता ने सिंधिया के नाम पर वोट दिए हैं, भाजपा की कब्जे वाली सीट पर भी सिंधिया के नाम पर जनता ने कांग्रेस को जिताया है, ऐसे में जब सिंधिया को मुख्यमंत्री नही बनाया गया है तो अब हम जनता के बीच किस मुंह से जाएं। विधायकों की मांग है कि ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया को कांग्रेस का प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बनाया जाए| दिल्ली में मौजूद विधायकों का कहना है कि अगर 2019 में राहुल गांधी को प्रधानमंत्री बनाना है तो हमारे महाराज (ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया) को कांग्रेस प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बनाया जाए। वहीं कुछ विधायकों का तो यह भी कहना है कि सिंधिया जी को सीएम नहीं बनाया गया तो हम कमलनाथ की नेतृत्व वाली सरकार का समर्थन नहीं करेंगे।

Attack on Kejriwal Exposes the Laxity of Security in the Capital

Earlier, females in Delhi were unsafe. Now, even the Chief Minister of Delhi is not safe. After chili powder attack on Kejriwal, Delhi Police arrested a cleric with live bullet when he tried to enter Kejriwal’s house for Janata Darbar.

“A man was arrested under The Arms Act after a live bullet was seized from him during checking when he went to visit CM Kejriwal yesterday morning. He was among the Muslim clerics who had gone to the CM with a request to increase the salary by Waqf Board,” Delhi Police said.

Delhi police said the cleric told police that he found the bullets in the donation of a mosque, kept it in his wallet and later forgot about it.

This is not the only incident which exposes the security of the Capital. Last week, Kejriwal was attacked by 40-year-old Anil Kumar Sharma with chilli powder when he stepped out of his office after a meeting at the Delhi Secretariat. Sharma was detained by the Delhi Police immediately after the attack.

AAP had claimed that Sharma was a BJP worker and had a history of hurling abuses on Kejriwal through his Facebook posts. Arvind Kejriwal asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resign if he cannot ensure the chief minister’s security.

Unruly Capital

The laid-back nature towards law was proved during Diwali. Supreme Court bestowed sanctions about bursting crackers in NCR. People ridiculed the decision and did what they ‘felt’ was right. In the end, Delhi recorded the worst Air Quality. A mayhem for the residents as smog covered Delhi for days.

The Delhites’ attitude towards law is visible in the National Crime Records Bureau’s data, which was released in December last year. Criminals in the capital are becoming more and more immune to the police and laws. In that report, Delhi recorded the highest crime against women rate of 160.4, almost treble the national average of 55.2.

A lot of Work is to be Done

Though the traffic rules are still stricter in Delhi than most of the cities in the country. But, still that is not enough. Security of a place is not only decided by the effectiveness of the Police but also by the citizens abiding the law. In Delhi, people escape by saying: jaanta h mera baap kaun h? (Translation: Do You know who my father is? )
