Sonia Gandhi held meeting with congress MPs

New Delhi: Congress president Sonia Gandhi held meeting with all the Congress MPs of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on Friday to discuss the situation of covid19 in the country. In the virtual meeting, Gandhi had heard out the view of all its MPs in both houses of Parliament on the COVID situation and ways to deal with it.

Taking about the electoral results of the recent assembly elections. She told that congress working committee CWC will soon conduct a meeting to review the election results of west Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry.

After the poor performance of party in the assembly elections, she said that the performance in all the four states and one union territory have been disappointing and even it was unexpected. We should take lesson from this defeat, she added.
Sonia further said that CWC meeting will be held but as a party, collectively we have to learn from this shocking defeat with all humility and honesty.
